I made a tough decision last night.
I finally admitted that it's just not a good decision for DH and I to make the trip to Austin this weekend for the great-grand's baby shower. I so much want to be there, but Hubby has so many health issues going on. He would not admit that he doesn't feel up to the trip. Neither of our kids would give an opinion. Son-in-law even offered to stay here with DH so I could go. Once I made the decision, it was a relief. I'm baking 4 pound cakes today for the shower. I'll freeze them tonight, and DD will pick them up tomorrow afternoon. I know I made the right choice, but I was sure looking forward to being there.

@Bloom : I'm sorry friend...that is disappointing. I know you have talked about this for a while. You DID make the right choice. Maybe you can do a zoom or facetime?
