New HEB Coming To Valley Ranch, New Caney

Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2027 on a new 124,970-square-foot H-E-B store at 11940 N. Grand Parkway East.

In comparison, the H-E-B located on Northpark Dr. is approximately 102,000 square feet and the Kroger Marketplace at Valley Ranch is approximately 123,000 square feet. The privately funded, $45 million project will also include a fuel station and car wash. According to project information, construction is expected to wrap up in late October 2027.

I welcome the HEB supermarket, but do we really need another carwash and fueling station in VRTC? I was hoping they were going to build where 242 meets 59/I69.

I'm glad to have another store. That area is really growing and says something that they have enough business at the Kingwood one on 59 too to support another just up the road

@otto : I'm assuming with how they wrote it, it is part of the HEB and not some one-off, but yes, everything around here is a gas station or car wash
