Daily Forum Summary

1. Bloom welcomes a great-granddaughter! Paige arrived shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday, barely half an hour after her parents reached the hospital. Bloom shared the happy news, and fellow members responded with congratulations and warm wishes. View Post >

2. Cooler weather has members reaching for heaters. Bloom turned on the heat after the indoor temperature dropped to 70°F, while Cbear used a space heater and remarked on the wind through open upstairs windows. Otto prefers warmth too but hasn’t switched on the heat yet. View Post >

3. Leap-second changes spark discussion—but details need verification. Otto posted that leap seconds would end in 2027 and eventually be replaced by a “leap hour.” The discussion supplies no supporting source, so members shouldn’t treat that timetable or replacement plan as confirmed news. 4. An autumn photo collection celebrates the season. Cbear shared six fall-themed images, including colorful wooded hills, a red barn, and a pumpkin-decorated porch. Otto’s clear favorite was the lakeside-house scene; the post doesn’t identify the pictures as local views. View Post >
