Three-Vehicle Crash on FM 1485 in New Caney Sends Two Drivers to
Three-Vehicle Crash on FM 1485 in New Caney Sends Two Drivers to Hospital A three-vehicle crash on FM 1485 near Pickering Road sent two people to the hospital Sunday morning, August 23rd. According to investigators, the crash happened around 8:45 AM near East Montgomery County Fire Station 154. Firefighters inside the station reportedly heard the impact and immediately responded. Officials said a Nissan Armada was traveling southbound and preparing to turn left into Caney Creek Apostolic Church when it was struck from behind by a box truck. The impact reportedly pushed the Armada into the northbound lanes, where it collided with a Mazda CX-5. The Mazda then rolled over and came to rest in a ditch. The drivers of the Armada and Mazda were transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition. The box truck driver was not injured. The Texas Department of Public Safety investigated the crash with assistance from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable's Office.
