Wow! Glad you made it home! Please be careful and don't drive through high water. I got stranded years ago because of flooded streets. I couldn't get home, and none of my family could get to me. I waited hours for the water to go down. It made me paranoid about driving in heavy rain.

I lost a car in tropical storm Imelda, I've had ptsd ever since then. Even when I am a passenger, I still get terrified of driving through even the littlest bit of water!!! I made my DH drive through it first so I knew it was passable!

My DD'S house flooded from Imelda, so I can relate. She lives 4 blocks from me, and kept calling me as she watched it from upstairs. I had just finished cancer treatment and felt helpless.

Well, if yall pray, I need you to. My FIL has taken a turn. He's 88, and he fell today. My DH HAS to go to work, so I need to stay home to help pawpaw if anything happens. He may have to go to a rehab facility. Please pray for both pawpaw, and my DH as he is having a hard time dealing with this, as he lost his mother 3 years ago. 😞
