 New Caney Man Arrested After Alleged Burglary at East County Convention CenterA burglary investigation at the new East County Convention Center led to an arrest early July 25th, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. MCSO said deputies with the East Patrol Command responded to an alarm in the 21600 block of Valley Ranch Parkway, which is the convention center, still under construction. Deputies reportedly arrived quickly and detained a man who was walking away from the property. After investigating and reviewing surveillance footage, deputies identified him as 27-year-old Nicholas Campbell. Campbell was taken into custody and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a charge of Burglary of a Building, according to MCSO.An arrest and charge are allegations, and the case will proceed through the legal process.
