Five Arrested Near New Caney After Methamphetamine InvestigationA targeted narcotics investigation in Conroe near New Caney led to five arrests, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. MCSO said the Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team, working with the Department of Public Safety, conducted an investigation into the alleged sale of methamphetamine after receiving complaints and information from residents.On July 23rd, 2026, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 15100 block of Bennette Woods Drive. During the search, authorities reportedly seized approximately 35 grams of methamphetamine, 4 grams of Tramadol and 1 gram of Xanax.Four people were arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance: 56-year-old Bolivar Valarezo, 57-year-old Billy Ivy, 58-year-old Allen Ivy and 48-year-old Rebekah Johnston. A fifth person, 45-year-old Domingo Rios, was arrested on an outstanding assault warrant, according to MCSO. All five were transported to the Montgomery County Jail and booked on their respective charges.An arrest and charge are allegations, and the case will proceed through the legal process.
