I'm not surprised. That was such a huge tragedy. It's unbelievable that they were even considering re-opening it. Nobody would consider sending their child there after that.

@Bloom : There were just too many issues that they didn't fix. I work with someone whose daughters went the week before the tragedy struck. They each lost friends. Just so very very sad.

@Bloom : Actually, they had a partial opening of the camp and some folks actually signed up! That of course has since gone away. I just could NOT send my children there knowing what happened. I always say "If if happens once, it can happen again".

I would think it would be traumatic for any child to spend time in a place where other children died in the middle of the night. That was all over the news.

This truly was a big tragic. I wouldn't be able to send my children either.
