Soccer For All Ages and Skill Levels!
Competitive Programs for Kids and Youth

Universo Futbol Club will find the resources to give the soccer player the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills to achieve these goals. We will achieve this with a combined effort from players, parents, community institutions, and private and/or governmental institutions.

Universo FC competitive program includes:

  • Train, coach, and develop the next generations of soccer players to aim for a place in colleges, universities, second-division, and professional soccer teams.
  • Facilitate and support the growth of local clubs.
  • Support and promote youth soccer development in the Porter, New Caney, Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, and Splendora areas.
  • Become one of the preferred and recognized soccer clubs to host regional, national, and international soccer training camps and tournaments.
  • Develop and train America’s young players in the right soccer techniques so they are able to compete and succeed at the next level.
  • Educate families on the practice of soccer in America.
  • Give the opportunity to youth by sponsoring other types of sports in the future.

BEGINNERS

We offer the beginner-level class. We will start from the very beginning and help the children understand and fall in love with the game.

Start Date: Open registration throughout the year.

​Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time: 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Saturdays:

Time: 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

Registration Fee $95.00

INTERMEDIATE

We focus on the technical, tactical, and physical conditioning of young players. Ball control is a primary focus of the basic soccer skills the children have to develop.

Start Date: Open registration throughout the year

​Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time: 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Saturdays:

Time: 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

 Registration Fee $95.00

ADVANCED

Our advanced kids are mastering their technical skills. This includes ball control, dribbling, passing and receiving, and defending, meaning understanding every single phase of a soccer game.

Start Date: Open registration throughout the year

​Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time: 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Saturdays:

Time: 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

Recreational Program

Universo Futbol Club (UFC) recreational soccer program is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on high‑level competition. The main purpose of the Universo FC recreational soccer program is to provide an opportunity for participants to have fun while they learn the sport and develop their skills to merge into a competitive program.

Early Start: Our youngest soccer academy division will first create an enjoyable and recreational environment where young children will begin to like the sport and then develop their technical and tactical skills, guided by our best coaches in that specific area, which we have found to be the most important in the development of younger players.

UFC has created an inexpensive recreational soccer program for fun, exercise, and development of all young players where competition is totally de‑emphasized. Each player plays for different reasons, and we at UFC would like to have a successful recreational soccer program that effectively encompasses fun, healthy exercise, and learning.


RECREATIONAL

 The main goal of this program is to help kids establish healthy habits and develop critical life style by promoting healthy life style and constructive use of time.

End Date: Last Day of School year

Time: 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.​

RECREATIONAL

 Summer Time is when kids need to be outside, come and join us, our soccer camp will help develop social skills and it will allow players to make new friends while learning how to play soccer.

​Start Date: June 1st. 

End Date: August 7th

Time: 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

RECREATIONAL

As part of our soccer sport expansion program to our community, we have put together the Women soccer league to help them practicing the sport they love and would like to continue playing for ever.

Time: 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

  • We believe each player should be able to develop at his or her full capacity based on their skills and dedication.
  • Soccer provides an alternative sport for individuals not gifted with the tremendous physical size and height needed to excel in American football and, respectively, basketball.
  • The sport of soccer promotes a healthy lifestyle and constructive use of time.
